You're It!

Well, we swapped grandparents today. Steve and Jan said goodbye....

And we said hello to Judy...

Steve and Jan took off around 10:00am to head back to St. Louis. I promised I would keep posting for them now, since they are now the long distance grandparents.

Mom's flight got into Manhattan at around 11:30am, after a hellish ride through a thunderstorm between KC and Topeka. Despite her green demeanor, she was very excited to see Luke. She is now resting on the couch holding her sleeping grandchild- she said this is what she would do the whole time she was here. So, everyone, she's safe and sound and happy holding her new grandson. I leave you with more pics...

Well there she is at long last to finally get to hold that precious little boy. She just couldn't wait to get to Kansas and get her hands on that new granchild. Here's to Judy we are happy for you and we are glad you made it safe and sound. Please give Luke hugs and kisses from all of us here at Carefirst

Wait a minute! Grandma Judy gets him to herself for only three more days. On Friday, the other Grandpa Steve arrives and then Luke is mine to spoil for a week or so! This grandparent thing sounds like a pretty good deal.

Judy you look so natural holding Luke...I'm glad everyone is safe and sound. I have forgotten those days of little ones but I would sit all day holding him also. Enjoy!!!!

I'm glad my friend Judy made it safe and sound. Thanks for the update. Luke looks so precious! I sent hugs and kisses with his grandmother. I can't wait for your visit to Salisbury.

Luke is cute as can be. Of course, he had to be with such handsome parents. Hahaha. No seriously.

So great to see the baby and the family. You look beautiful and wonderful. The play by play is great but I have to say I wasn't expecting a mention of the circumcision. I didn't even know there was a part that had to fall off. Learn something new everyday.

We look forward to watching Luke grown and wonder if Mindy will fall for the ol' pee in the face routine again. I can see that Luke already has a little of his Dad's practical joke tendencies.

Best to you all,

Barb and Dan
