Tuesday afternoon, Aunt Jamie and I took the kiddos to the pumpkin patch. Jamie had the day off from work, so after the boys took their naps, we ventured off to find pumpkins. We all had a really good time! The boys each got pumpkins to carve. I also indulged in some yummy apple cider and apple butter....mmmmmmm....=) Here are pics!
Will enjoying a sippy of cold water on this warm day...
Luke and Aunt Jamie checking out the corn stalk Teepee...
I had no idea goats were such climbers! They had this huge - and high - contraption in their little pasture. The goats loved to climb up and down - so funny!
They had corn to feed the goats...but the goats already had corn in their gate...so they weren't too interested in the kernels we offered. Oh well!
Pumpkins! Luke loved trying to pick up the pumpkins. If it was too big, he'd still try - then proclaim, "too heaby!"
Luke picked one of the white pumpkins to take home.
Yummy water!
Cool Dude!
Here Will is playing in the midst of the pumpkins...
Us...
Will is trying to figure out how to drive this rig!
Luke loves tractors. He was very impressed with the size of this one!
Aunt Jamie and Luke going through the "pumpkin maze."
"Which way should I go?"
The boys rode the wagon as we navigated through the corn maze...it took us close to 30 minutes to find our way out! The look on Luke's face is his silent way of telling me he's tired of me taking his picture...
A quick rest before purchasing our pumpkins!
Here's Will in the wagon full of our purchases!
He wanted the apple cider...
We hear that this pumpkin patch makes apple cider donuts on the weekend...that may be reason enough to visit again soon! =)
